When we bought this gelding you could only trim his front feet. By the second trimming he would let you trim his backs too. By the thrid time we put shoes on all four feet.  I'm very happy to say that at no time was this gelding druged or twitched. We do not believe that a horse learns from those aids. You must teach the horse by making the wrong way hard and the right way easy.
